Blanquette de Limoux AOP (Mauzac, Chenin, Chardonnay)
The first bubbles were born in Limoux, the sparkling wine createdin the local friary was apparently tasted by Dom Perignon and then perfected in Champagne. What makes Blanquette different is 90% Mauzac in the blend, a rare grape grown in only two regions in the South of France. Made in the Traditional method, and aged for an average of 18 months. With aromas of spring flowers and subtle flavours of orchard fruits. It is refined and delicate.
